You’re so fucking stupid | Nick & Selena
“You didn’t like them?” He sighed, hiccups bubbling one after another from his lips. He could just hardly understand why she was mad and he knew it was all the alcohol. A sober, well behaved Nick would be just as angry if it were her. But he was that boy right now, and frankly the more drunk he felt, the more his persistence grew. Nick was being a dick and the whole population of NYC’s nightlife was around to see it. He began to laugh uncontrollably at his own behavior and he crawled into the cab, immediately reaching forward to pull Selena in after him. He wanted her so bad he could cry, but she brushed him off, too angry to deal with him. It grew quiet in the cab and Nick stared at her, waiting for any sound that she wasn’t mad anymore. It was a long shot, but Nick swallowed a few more hiccups and spoke up. “L-look.. Just ‘cause I’m drunk doesn’t mean I don’t actually love you. I so do. You make me cr-crazy.” He bent toward her and pressed a sloppy kiss on her cheek, ignoring the snickering from the cab driver. “And I would sooo fuck you. In a heart beat.” Nick shrugged, unable to filter himself. “I’d call it love making, but that would make me seem like a big ol’ pussy and girls don’t like pussies. They like assholes like Bieber.” Nick furrowed his brow in frustration at the thought, realizing it was true. Justin was still after Selena and she somehow still wanted to see him, even after all of the confessing Nick had done. He reached over and took her hand against her will, pressing it in his own. “I’m a good guy though. I’m probably a pussy.”
Feeling an urgent pull on her arm, Selena was jerked forward into the cab, falling into the seat next to Nick. With a quick shake of her head, Selena closed the car door, the cold New York breeze being blocked out from the vehicle by the metal and allowing her to be at ease. Rolling her dark brown orbs, Selena reached over him, pulling his seat belt down and then doing the same to her own. “I really don’t appreciate having to babysit you,” she muttered under her breath, sinking lower into the backseat. Her voice had been barely audible, and because Nick could barely understand the girl when she was speaking in a normal tone, she was sure he hadn’t heard her then. Her eyes then darted to the window, watching as the building passed by while Nick rambled on and on, none of the words processing in Selena’s brain. It was a bunch of drunk nonsense, which she was most definitely not in the mood for hearing, and would rather just get out of the cab and go home, where she could put the drunken boy to sleep and plan on what she was going to say when he was sober enough for her to yell at him. She almost jumped in seat at the feeling of Nick’s lips in upon her cheek, not expecting it the least bit, and turned her head to look at him with disappointed eyes. I would sooo fuck you. Selena could feel herself becoming more uncomfortable by the minute, pulling her sweatshirt tighter around her, feeling goosebumps form on her exposed legs. Of course Nick would bring up Justin at a time like this .. it was sure to happen eventually, sober or not, and Selena wanted more than anything to roll her eyes at even the thought of everything that had happened the past few weeks. While it had once seemed so serious, now it just gave her a headache, and made her angry. Feeling his hand grab at hers, refusing to let it go no matter how many times she tried to protest, Selena bit down on her bottom lip as she gave up, slipping her fingers in between his own. “You’re not a pussy,” she said, sincerely, finally taking another look at him. “There should be more people out there like you. The world would be a better place.” While she knew he wouldn’t remember her compliment the next day, she didn’t hesitate to say it, and saw the building where Nick’s apartment was located in the near distance. Within a matter of seconds, they were parked out front, and Selena unbuckled the two and climbed out of the car, waiting for Nick to follow. She was slowly beginning to calm down, but knew at any given moment she could be heated up again with just one idiotic comment from Nick, and she silently hoped he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut.

“Hey, hey, hey… shhhh..” He shouted from behind Selena as she ragged him effortlessly through the bar. Once they’d tumbled out onto the street Nick grabbed a hold of her, glad he didn’t have to speak so loudly anymore with the fear that raising his voice might cause him to throw up. “Hey, shhh. L-listen.. S’all good! I’m alright, see?” He stood back on his heels, holding his arms out to gesture to his unscathed appearance. He flung his arm forward, pointing sloppily at her. “You, babe, are so grumpy.” Nick hiccuped and covered his mouth, skipping forward to close the gap between them. He could feel the rage coming from her small frame. It wouldn’t even be so crazy to say that there was heat radiating from her in the chilly New York air. Nick knew he was testing his luck, but he also knew that if he did anything stupid she’d soon forgive him. He gave her shoulder a small squeeze, unable to keep himself from touching her. “Hey, did you get my t-t-texts?” He hiccuped again, violently, and forced a wink at her, though he ended up simply blinking both eyes. Much like the first time he’d kissed her, he didn’t realize it was happening until he was pulling her swiftly into his grasp, mashing his lips hard against hers. He stepped back and took her hand, grinning. “I’m glad you’re here!”
Selena ignored Nick’s complaining, his only protest being words that flew right over her head, the volume of his voice making her cringe as it rung through her eardrums. “God, can you stop screaming?” She asked, making a final attempt at keeping her anger under control, only to be infuriated once again by his behavior. “Grumpy? Oh, gee, I wonder why I’d be grumpy. I only flew out to see a sober Nick and I’m graced by the surprise visit of .. of this!” Selena’s hands gestured to him as he tottered back and forth on the heels of his shoes, and Selena was sure he was bound to fall onto his ass at any given moment. And all she could think about was how this could have gone differently. They could have spent the day together, ate dinner, cuddled up on his couch and watched movie marathons until they fell asleep. Anything other than having to pick up her ex boyfriend from a bar on St. Patricks Day, and as Selena watched the man make a fool out of himself right in front of her, she silently cursed that the holiday had ever been created. All anyone ever did on the day was drink and pinch those who weren’t in the so-called spirit and refused to wear green, and it a waste to print something so pointless on calenders every year. Her eyebrows raised as he attempted at asking the girl a question, making it even more obvious that he had been sitting alone at the bar for hours as he battled to get out a word while all his body wanted to do was hiccup, and his body won, a hiccup emerging out of him that almost made Selena want to giggle. But the desire to laugh in this situation was destroyed by just one little reminder. Texts. “Yeah, I got your texts,” she mumbled, suddenly feeling uncomfortable in his presence, and before Selena could try to change the subject, she felt his lips sloppily crash down upon her own. She took a step back in shock, which then quickly turned into disgust, tasting everything he’d drank throughout the night on his lips. Selena felt the anger bubbling inside of her, pushing him off of like she had done when he tried embracing the girl, and rejecting him when he tried to hold her hand. “I’m so mad at you right now,” she said, on the verge of screaming, and opened the door to the cab in one swift motion. “Just get in the fucking car, Nick.”

You’re so fucking stupid | Nick & Selena
Nick didn’t know what he was doing. There was no other way to put it. He just didn’t know. He was hardly old enough to be drinking, let along mingle in the pub he sat on a stool in. Middle aged men and their wives all around him stared in amazement as the boy just seemed to pound the beers back, one after another until the room spun. He only really had one thing on his mind at the moment and that was Selena. Ever since he’d told her how he felt it was the center of his world. When would he see her again? When would they talk next? Every next step had something to do with her. It was pathetic, really, and he sucked down another beer. He’d been texting her all night, and while he couldn’t remember what he said even two seconds ago, he knew it wouldn’t be good. The thought was horrifying, because Nick was nothing but good. He was so gone that he couldn’t tell whether or not the girl marching up to him really was Selena or if he was merely hallucinating. He searched frantically for his phone to call her and confirm, realizing that it was in his left hand the entire time. He was too gone to feel his fingers curled tightly around it. The angry girl in front of him, however, was enough to sober him to the point of coherence. Definitely Selena, he thought, and he slipped down from his stool, wrapping his arms tightly around her despite the string of swear words frantically flying from her perfect lips. “Baaaby, you’re here!” He slurred, holding onto her.
Feeling the familar sense of safety that was brought when Nick’s arms wrapped tightly around the girl’s tiny figure, Selena almost forgot the whole reason she was there. She almost felt ashamed at how easily she could get lost in the feeling of his touch that she had yearned for a week straight, although she had never felt a week drag on for that long, every second apart from him feeling like an hour. But the strong, unmistakable stench of alcohol on his breath brought her back to reality, and she remembered that she was in a bar, with her only intention of entering it in the first place was to force Nick to leave with her, for his own good. She pushed the drunk man off of her, her hands on his chest, roughly forcing him back. Selena couldn’t help by sigh at the sight of the unstable man, never wanting to see him in this state of mind, not expecting the time when she would have to pick Nick up from a bar when he was shit drunk to finally come. “Yeah, I’m here,” she said, her voice alone expressing the amount of anger the brunette had building up inside of her. She almost couldn’t control the words coming out of her mouth, but she was feeling such a rush of emotions that she simply didn’t care. The room smelled like beer, the music was tacky, and everyone was staring at them. All she wanted to do was leave. “I can’t believe you fucking did this, Nick,” she commented, grabbing onto his hand as she prepared to battle him to make him go home with her. “I thought you of all people would be the one to never get yourself into shit like this.”

You’re so fucking stupid | Nick & Selena
Her feet tapping impatiently against the floor of the taxi, Selena could feel her heart rate increasing more by the second. She couldn’t help but let her mind drift away and fill with images of Nick holding a beer in his hand, only putting it down momentarily every now and again to send Selena a text—or in this case, multiple text messages, each coming in by the second before Selena had the chance to reply to the first one that he had sent. And while she knew that Nick was an adult now, and that he could probably handle a situation like this on his own .. she also couldn’t help but fill with worry about what might happen to him walking alone, drunk in the dark and dangerous streets of New York. It gave her the chills just thinking about it, thinking about what could happen to the man whom she had seen only a week ago, a smile on his face and an angelic laugh leaving his lips that was like music to her ears. Pulling up to the bar Nick had texted her saying he was at, surprisingly telling her his location without a fight, Selena payed the cab driver and stepped out of the vehicle. Her feet practically pushed her into the bar without having to even think about it, and it didn’t long for her to spot the dark head of curls, chugging down a green liquid as the older men around him stared in shock. With a roll of her eyes, she walked over to him, grabbing the beer forcefully out of his hand and slamming it down onto the table. “You’re so fucking stupid,” she hissed, looking at him with a glare.
